A30 Jamaica Inn to Fivelanes overnight closures for road renewals works
Monday 9 January to Saturday 4 February 2023
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A-roads. They will shortly be carrying out essential resurfacing works on the A30 at Jamaica Inn, Cannaframe and Fivelanes junctions.
The work will start on the evening of Monday 9 January and finish on the morning of Saturday 4 February and will take place overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
To minimise disruption, they will work on weeknights only when there are fewer vehicles on the road. mostly be working in convoy where access for vehicles will be maintained with traffic lights in place. There will be some nights where junction slip roads will be fully closed, and these are programmed as follows:
- Monday 9 January, Tuesday 10 January and Wednesday 11 January - full overnight closure of the Jamaica Inn eastbound exit and entry slip road for 3 nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning.
- Thursday 19 and Friday 20 January - full overnight closure of the Cannaframe entry and exit slip roads for 2 nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning.
- Tuesday 31 January, Wednesday 1 February, Thursday 2 February & Friday 3 February - full overnight closure of the Fivelanes exit slip road for 4 nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning
There will be a fully signed diversion route in place during the full overnight closures, but please allow extra time for your journey.
