Scott Mann visited Stratton Primary School on Tuesday to meet with parents and children who often find themselves stranded in the middle of a busy road while trying to cross.
While there Scott was able to experiece the everyday problem of having to stand between two bollards on an island crossing while cars and HGVs passed on both sides, and it became clear that something needs to be done to keep children and parents out of harms way.

"Today I met with parents and children from Stratton Primary School who have no safe route to cross the main road around busy junctions.
"While we met I witnessed a constant flow of cars and HGVs travelling at speed past the school. It is clear that something needs to be done and I will work with the relevant authorities to find a suitable solution."
