I was kindly invited to take part in a Beach Clean at Widemouth Bay, by Pupils in Class 3 at Marhamchurch C of E VC School. It was great to see so many pupils, staff, family and friends take part from not only Marhamchurch School but also Stratton Primary School, we were all given a talk by the great 2 Minute Beach Clean team who supplied us all with pickers and reusable bags.
The majority of the rubbish on the beach was microplastics which are difficult to pick up but we all did our best the rubbish that is picked up is recycled in many ways either by artists or sent away to be made into recycled products like the reusable bags that are supplied at the Clean Up Stations.
