It was great to visit Steve and Sheila last week to see how the museum has invested its Cultural Recovery Fund grant. They have a new classroom, improved signage, have developed more Covid-secure access, and much else besides.
I'm always impressed by the quantity and quality of historical artefacts at the museum. Everything from tanks and planes to books and clothes, all covering life at the front, on the moor, and at home.
They and the other volunteers are hard at work preparing for the new season and are reopening at Easter.
