I was very pleased to see that the £30m holiday resort plans for Waterside Cornwall, formerly known as Lakeview Country Club, have recently been approved and that now plans are at work to develop this site.
This new site is also expected to provide the local area with numerous new jobs in addition to contributing to the Cornish economy.
The site has been granted full planning permission that will include 118 Eco Lodges, a new 25-meter swimming pool and several leisure facilities. This newly developed resort will help to bring more tourists to North Cornwall seeing an extra income for the local area all year round raising the profile of the area.
The plans also feature several eco-friendly developments and buildings that mean not only will the buildings blend seamlessly into the environment but also they will not harm the local ecological features of the area.
