It was a privilege to attend the Passing out ceremony of the next 8 Tri-Service Safety Officers at the Cornwall Operational Police Headquarters in Bodmin last week.
It was a huge honour to be able to participate in the event and I look forward to seeing the fantastic work they are set to do in their areas of Bude, Liskeard, Hayle, St. Just, St. Ives, Perranporth, Fowey/Polruan, Looe, Lostwithial and St Dennis from April onwards.
The Tri-Service was founded in 2013 and since the have gone on to create 10 permanent posts across Cornwall. The work they do is fantastic, especially for a region that is as rural as ours, it is important to give local constituents the service they require.
