As I’m sure many of you are already aware, the 6th June 2019 marks the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings. This definitive moment during the Second World War is still to this day the largest seaborne invasion of all time.
To honour those whose lives were lost, The Royal British Legion is working with the UK Government and other stakeholders to plan significant commemorations to mark D-Day 75 and the liberation of France, with events being held in both Normandy and the United Kingdom
The Royal British Legion are taking 300 Normandy veterans on a free voyage to France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings. If you know any veterans; let the Royal British Legion know on their website below.
