I was delighted to get the chance to speak to members of Hi5 Talk Time café in Bude. The café is a fantastic community service that provides support for under 5’s with special/additional needs and their parents.
The group has expanded vastly, starting with just one family and expanding upwards to 10 families who travel from as far as Launceston and Okehampton.
The group has recently been awarded £5000 through the National lottery Awards for all grant scheme with as view to applying for the big lottery funding scheme in the near future.
This is a fantastic example of how strong the North Cornwall community is and how well we support each other; the funding allocated shows the strong work that they have achieved in running the fantastic service.
