I would like to pass on a huge congratulations to all the winners at this years World Pasty Championship on Saturday 2nd. This event, held at the Eden project, brought in a huge crowd of spectators in addition to a vast array of pasty bakers from all around the country.
In fact, I was delighted to see that the top 3 winners in the Cornish Pasty Professional were all from Bodmin. It is fantastic to see that the Cornish Pasty is in very capable hands with the people of Bodmin and I look forward to seeing how the cooks take their pasty baking skills forward.
