Voting against the bill, Scott said:
"The ramming through of anti-Brexit legislation last night represents a clear and present danger to our constitutional norms, and the British people’s decision to leave the European Union.
"There is an open and obvious attempt to steal Brexit from the people via arcane and duplicitous methods. Remain colleagues do not seek to create a better deal - they seek to reverse Brexit."
